Each year the University Grants Commission (UGC) conducts the National Eligibility Test (NET) for determining the eligibility of Indian students who look forward to being an Assistant Professor or achieve Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) which enable them to explore new horizons in Indian Universities and Colleges.
Conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA), NET endorses the analytical skills and subject expertise within a student. A rigorous learning and training should be followed by interested students to qualify this prestigious examination. In addition to this, expert guidelines and motivation are necessary to equip oneself to face the exam. For such enthusiastic students, the PG department of Commerce, Christ Nagar College, Maranalloor provides a unique platform where each paper is being taken with great acumen by experts from our college. The Postgraduate department of Commerce launched this distinctive programme for the present academic year on 1 August 2019 with Mrs. Thasni S., Assistant Professor, Dept. of Commerce as the Co-ordinator and has been successfully following the schedule of the programme thereafter. Prof. T Rajasekharan Pillai, HOD, PG Department of Commerce has been successfully guiding and monitoring this Programme. We are honoured to share that twenty students had already enrolled in the present batch of the NET coaching and is undertaking the course with great zeal. Four of our outgoing students have already cleared NET in the previous years.
