Rural Entrepreneurship Development Cell (RED Cell)

 
Rural Entrepreneurship Development Cells (RED Cell) are set up by Mahatma Gandhi National Council of Rural Education (MGNCRE) under the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India, which strives to promote resilient rural India through Higher Education interventions. RED Cell started its functioning in our college in  2021.It aims to motivate the students to explore untapped rural resources and opportunities available in the zone. It also nurtures the students to become successful rural entrepreneurs for the balanced regional development
 

Objectives

       

Promoting Rural Entrepreneurship culture/ environment in the campus

​Orienting and Mentoring Students for the Rural Entrepreneurship

​Identifying the opportunities for the students through experiential learning, internship opportunities with the FPOs/ local KVI/ local businesses/cottage industry

Organising Rural Entrepreneurship Development Cell, Rural Entrepreneurship Field Visits/Online Workshops/Online or Field Interaction with local businesses

Managing Rural Entrepreneurship Development Cell Activities.
