The Department of Media Studies started functioning in 2016. With excellent faculty and resources to provide a comprehensive understanding of the media and communication, the department has produced University Rank holders. The department conducts world-class sessions for students through webinars and training modules.  Learners are equipped with industry ready skills and competence.   The students are also given exposure to the new and changing trends in the field of their study through field visits, internships in media houses and corporates. The department has a well-equipped Media Lab to provide current and industry relevant skills.   The department is headed by Mrs Manju Rose Mathews.
