The first science department of Christ Nagar College, Maranalloor, the department of Statistics, came into existence in the academic year 2018-2019. 35 seats were filled in the very first batch itself.  The department is headed by Dr. Benny George, a doyen, who sees to the overall development of each and every student. The chief attraction of the department is its well equipped laboratory with top end instruments.
